Our Purpose

The Transformational Change Institute exists to address one of the most persistent and costly challenges facing modern organisations: why transformational change so often fails. Despite intelligent strategy, capable leadership, and significant investment, many change efforts stall, fragment, or quietly reverse. The issue is rarely ambition or intent. It is the absence of the conditions required for people to change. TCI was established to formalise, teach, and certify a structured, evidence-informed approach to creating those conditions.

The Intellectual Foundation

At the core of the Institute’s work is the SIMPLE. Transformation Framework™.

Developed through five years of applied research and organisational transformation work in Aotearoa New Zealand, the Framework emerged from real-world leadership environments.

  • The research focused on a central question: Why do well designed change strategies fail to translate into sustained behavioural and systemic outcomes?

The findings led to two foundational components:

  • The Unity Formula™, defining the environmental conditions required to create genuine change readiness.

  • The SIMPLE. Transformation Method™, a disciplined, repeatable structure for aligning priorities and sustaining change momentum across complex systems.

Together, they form a complete system for leading transformational change.

From Research to Institute
